Visitor Programme
We welcome visitors to Sir Michael Sobell House and receive many requests to visit each year.

Individual and Group Visits
Tailor-made half or full day visits may be arranged for individuals or groups of six or more professionals. These will only be agreed where there are clear objectives for the visit and where it would be expected to bring benefits to the applicant’s professional practice and/or organisation. Please note that we are not able to provide interpreters, and visitors should be able to communicate verbally in English. Applications should normally be received at least two months in advance.
• Half day (3 hrs) £30 per person including lunch, up to a maximum of £250
• Full day (6 hrs) £60 per person including lunch, up to maximum of £500
• Reductions are available to those working in the Thames Central Network

Clinical Placements
Clinical placements of either one or two weeks’ duration are offered to health care professionals wishing to work alongside the staff at Sir Michael Sobell House in order to gain practical experience in palliative care. Longer visits may be arranged. Applications should normally be received at least two months in advance.
• £250 per week (excludes meals and accommodation).
• Reductions are available for our international partners
