The Ruth Gibbes Library, named after a former patient in Sobell House, houses a specialist collection of books and periodicals relating to palliative care.

The library supports palliative care education and research and the librarian can help users find information either through the collection or by helping them to conduct internet searches of the literature. The library is a member of the Thames Valley Health Librarians Network.

The library is staffed: Tuesday 0830-1600
Thursday 0830-1600
Friday 0830-1600

Permission to use the library during other office hours (0830-1600) may be granted.

Use of the library
Users of the library need to register and complete a library membership application form. There are three categories of membership
