Facilities
for Hire at Sobell Study Centre
The Study Centre offers attractive facilities for educational events including,
on the ground floor, a recently refurbished and fully air-conditioned lecture
room with AV equipment seating up to 40 people and, on the first floor, two
adjoining seminar rooms seating 14 and 8 people. Please note that there is
no lift to the first floor. Seating is flexible and can be arranged to suit
the event. All rooms have whiteboards, video playback facilities and overhead/slide
projectors. The rooms are available Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Evenings and weekends
may be available by special arrangement but require a member of Sobell Study
Centre staff to be present for security reasons. Refreshments are served
in a large ‘atrium’ area. Coffee, tea and lunch can be provided
at an additional cost.

Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust departments may use the rooms free of
charge provided the event is non profit making. Charges for local community
groups and charities are reduced by 25%.
