Give as you Earn (GAYE)
GAYE enables your employees to donate a small amount of money to Sobell House Hospice Charity every month directly from their salary. Many people who donate in this way say they don’t even miss the money and the added bonus is that the Tax Man even contributes to their donation.

If your company salaries are paid under PAYE, your employees can donate via GAYE. For every £1 donated, it will actually only cost the employee 78p as the Tax Man throws in the extra 22p. So a monthly donation of £5 will actually only cost £3.90 but the Charity will receive the full £5.

Once this is set up the employee doesn’t have to do anything else, they can donate as much or as little as they wish either every week, if they are paid weekly, or every month if they are paid monthly.
