In 1991 the trading Company was formed to become part of Sobell House Hospice Charity, allowing us to open our first two shops in Bicester and Little Clarendon Street, Oxford, which were shared with Katharine House Hospice. Eventually Bicester shop moved solely to Katharine House and we took sole charge of the Little Clarendon Street shop.

There are currently seven Charity Shops raising funds for Sobell House Hospice Charity. In Oxford, they are located in Botley, Headington and Little Clarendon Street. Elsewhere in Oxfordshire we have shops in Kidlington, Thame, Wallingford and Witney. They sell a variety of goods, most of which have been donated by people in the local area.

All shops are run by a paid manager and the rest of the staff are volunteers. If you are interested in helping at one of the shops, please get in touch either directly with the shop concerned or the Charity Office. And please, keep taking items to the shops for us to sell, and enjoy shopping for clothes, antiques, china, textiles, toys and even furniture (at our Kidlington shop).
